Greetings!
This week the focus is on the Toowoomba store and its staff.
As we have said in the past, Toowoomba is more than a new used and rebuilt parts facility ... it also handles all facets of the receiving, allocating and dispatch of the new parts that come in from all over the world. It takes good people to complete this process, people that are passionate and adaptable in the workplace and inside themselves.
I am proud to say we have some of the best people in the business, company wide. We have been lucky to have long term staff at Neil's and I am pleased to be one of them.  Reg Gimm is also a long term staff member and has just clicked over 15 years. Reg won't mind me saying this, but I was stoked to hear him ask if he could continue to work after his allotted retirement age ... and this is fast approaching ... I am pleased to say he is NOT ready to retire and while his passion and drive are there we are not ready to see him go.
I would ask all the staff to please join with me in congratulating Reg on 15 years and let him know we are happy to see him continue on as long as he is fit and happy to do so.
This is a big thing for our company because it was only a bit over 6 or 7 years ago Reg had a very serious car accident and we didn't think he was going to be able to continue to work at all.
Reg enjoys the diversity offered by the job and brings with him trades such as Spray Painter, Airframe Fitter & Mechanical Fitter. He also enjoys tinkering around in the shed at home. Reg is a well respected member of our team and I thank him for his efforts.
All this being said, we are expanding very quickly as a business and we have had the benefit of employing some very good people Australia wide. Craig Tebbutt has been lucky to be able to hire some good young people on the counter, in stores and in the yard ... actually Toowoomba has become a good nursery to train young people and move them to new locations ... much to Craigs frustration!!! He trains them and seems only to lose them to our other branches ... Craigie dont panic mate, this may seem bad for the store in a sense but is a very good thing for the business, you guys must be doing a good job to have these guys and girls love working there and to learn so fast and then move up in the business. Well done!

Danielle "Dan" Herdman has been employed with us in machinery dismantling for 16 months and likes the team atmosphere of working at Neil's Parts. Dan has come to us with a background in farming, restaurant management and heavy equipment repairs. She also enjoys working on the home farm and hunting.
Dan "Passie" Pasfield has been employed in our machinery dismantling department 8 months and has recently been promoted to assist in our import & distribution warehouse. A chippie by trade, Passie has an excellent work ethic and been known to have the occasional "mood swing". He also enjoys hunting and the "Vibe" of working at Neil's Parts.
Danny "Heppy" Heppes is new to our crew having notched up just over one month as machinery dismantler. Heppy enjoys working with other team members and also likes the diversity the job offers. He has done the hard grind as bricky's laborer and brings with him a happy energetic personality.
